Content Warning:  Mean Girls is based on the PG-13 film and presents a very honest depiction of modern high school culture. Like the film, the musical contains some language and depictions of teenagers partying and may not be appropriate for all audiences.  Mean Girls High School Version has some content revisions, but it follows the plot of the film faithfully, with much of the original dialogue and scenes included. Parents of younger children are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the movie or musical soundtrack (though edited) before purchasing tickets. 

The High School Version contains mature scenes, including bullying, manipulation, and social hierarchy, which may not be suitable for all audiences.  It is most appropriate for high school age and above due to mature content and themes relating to high school social issues.
